I have a 98 Intrigue. Where are the automotive fuses located?

On my '95 Intrigue, the automotive fuse panel is above and to the right of the accelerator pedal in a small metal box. You actually have to depress the accelerator to open the box. Very awkward location, but what are you going to do? Try that.

Check under the front hatch on the coach firewall above your genset and in the electrical compartments behind the rear wheels. That is where many of them are located. On a Newmar they are in black plastic boxes with a removable cover or, exposed and under a transparent plastic cover.

While installing my new in dash radio I managed to blow the hot wire fuse labeled #85. My problem is I can't find the fuse block for wire #85. My Electrical Schematic shows it as a fuse plate containing 5 fuses. Does anyone know where this is located? RJ

Ron,

The fuse you are looking for is in the bay where your starting battery is located. When you have the door open and are facing the battery the fuse you are looking for is on the forward wall. It is a 20 amp automobile bayonett type. You will have to pull it apart but should be no problem.

Ken, I'm not sure I would have ever looked in there for my dash radio fuse.
I just got my new, replacement, Sony a few hours ago I hope to install it tomorrow.
Thank you,
RJ

Wally My original in dash was a Panasonic that was just a radio with a CD player.
This Sony, model MEX-BT3100P, has Blue Tooth for wireless music streaming and hands free calling. It also has a front USB port so I can load my music on to a flash drive and play it through the in dash music system. It also has a wireless remote so my wife can change the music/stations from her seat. A couple of other features that I probably won't use are the SeriusXM satellite radio and Pandora. You can also stream music from any smart phone.
Bottom line it has many more features than my old Panasonic had.
