On a recent trip in my 98 Allure I arrived at a campground and my slide out wouldn't deploy. I guess it is better to have it not go out rather than not go in but I was just starting a 3 week trip and wanted to be able to use the slide out.

I had a mobil RV service guy take a look at the problem but he was unable to help. The next morning I contacted CC Tech Support and spoke to a person there named Genrty. He was very courteous and when I mentioned that I noticed my parking brake indicator light was not lighted even though my parking brake was set he immediately knew the problem and gave me a quick and easy temporary fix.
It seems that the slide will not move unless the parking brake is set (Probably a very good idea). There is device that senses the parking brake being set and relays the signal to the slide out mechanism.
The temporary fix is to ground the terminal on the relay. I put a jumper from chassis groud to the terminal and the parking brake lighted and the slide out mechanism operated. I would be happy to email you a jpeg photo showing the temporary fix if you email me at mullinsr@... (mullinsr@...)
I appreciated the fast and knowledgable help I received from Gentry at CC technical support.
