I replaced our Intrigue's entry door's illuminated plastic (lucite?) grab handle this weekend. The original handle had a lot of cracks in it, and I heard that some got so bad they'd break when grabbed, resulting in a fall.
Not good!

Anyway, I bought a new plastic handle at the Tennessee CC Rally and finally got around to installing it, starting yesterday. The install went OK, although I had to modify one end of the handle and slightly reduce the diameter of both ends so it would fit in the chrome housings. Bottom line ... project completed and possible injury prevented.

Our '98 Intrigue has a clear handle (the one that I replaced) that's illuminated by a conventional (old-time conventional ) small twist-to-install/remove bulb in the top chrome housing. Simply remove the housing's two screws, pull away from the coach and replace the light bulb. there should be enough play in the handle. If not, remove the lower housing, too.
