Why not make money when you are not using your R.V.

Keith.... this concept is wrought with complications beginning with the cost of insurance which is quite different for rental verses personal use. I've ran the figures from 2000 to 2003 doing that with my MH and by the time it was done I would be lucky to keep 25% of the rental income IF I could keep it rented.

You are kidding aren't you? Oh I could see so many things going wrong. There is no way that I would rent my coach out. Back in '82 when I got my first RV a several fellow teachers asked me about renting to them and I gave thema flat no. Made 'em mad as he11, but I was able to use my MH whenever I wanted to and did not have worry about having it in a shop to repair things that were torn up by someone else.

No thanks on the renting to make money.

I can see your point and truely respect that and when I posted I didnt realize that this group was all coach owners the rental bussiness is more geared towards class A and class C owners.
I know that if I spent 500,000 or more on a coach I would be hesitant to rent it out so if there is anyone out there with an A or C check us out. I do have another site for anyone interested in selling thier coach it is free for the time being because it is still fairly new but dont wait to long there will be a fee to post there within a few months
