Does anyone have any info on stainless steele or chrome exhaust pipe extensions for the cat 400 (2005 Inspire) and for the generator? -Where to purchase?
-Ease of installation?
-Problems

I don't have info for your specific coach ... but ...
When we had our '98 Intrigue's (Cummins 325) muffler replaced in April, I asked the truck shop to install a stainless steel or chrome extension on it ... so they installed a SS extension. It looks terrific and will never need to be replaced. Uhhh ... it "only" cost ~$150 (just for the extension!) But, after I got over the initial shock, I love it. After all, the coach "deserves" it.

Hodge,

I'm not familiar with the Inspire specifically, but if your exhaust pipe is held on with a bolt on clamp it is easy to change out. I changed mine in about 1 hour--including polishing. I used a length of chrome exhaust pipe I got from a truck supply store. Cost about $30.
I have not put an extension on my generator.

Man, talking about seeing someone coming----Dick, did you have a big wad of money in your pocket and they noticed it? I bought a 4 ft. section for $50.00 and had two pieces cut to the lenght that I needed. Put one on the coach and have a spare incase the first one gets to looking bad.
As for the generator extension, check with a CC dealer and they can probably get you one. If not check auto parts stores or muffler shops.

I purchased a 5" diameter stainless tip from Summit Racing (www.summitracing.com) for $58 (I think). I cut off what I needed and welded it up to the tail pipe. I changed my muffler at the same time. I put a 5" Flowmaster racing muffler on there and got rid of that big ole thing they had on there. 4 inches of stainless tip sticking out sure looks a lot nicer than that rusted piece of crap that came from the factory. Sounds good too now.

Stop by sometime....I'll do it for you.

I purchased a SS one from CC. About $100. It has a nice rolled outer flange.
