It would be appreciated if someone living in the Vero Beach would bve kind enough to contact me so that I might have a better understanding of conditions in that area as a result of the recient huricanes. We wish to travel there but have not been able to contact our friends living in a developement off I95 in the west side of town.

Jim,
Wish I could help but don't know what shape they are in . We just got our power back on after 3 days and gasoline is still a hassle. It is available here but you wait a while because power is still out everywhere. We spent 2 night in the coach in front of the house so we could sleep with AC. One problem thru out this area is flooding. All rivers are at record levels but there are also lots of good areas. Lazy days and flying J in Tampa are open and Orlando is in good shape. I'm working ( for free) at Give The Kids The World Village on Wednesdayand they were running thru out the hurricane. The beach area was the hardest hit so I would check ahead before going there. You might want to stay in this area and drive over there by car.
