I am considering replacing my kingdome with the motosat system so I will have HD and HDDVR. I understand that kingdome will not drive a DVR or a HDDVR. Does anyone have experience with this change. I use dish network. thanks Lee Ramage Intrigue 11784.

Lee, I have the MotoSat HD-SL5 Satellite on my Allure which accesses DirectTV. You would use their HD-DP3 for Dish Network.

You'll also need a model of their Nomad Controller. You should contact MotoSat for which one you need. www.motosat.com
I'm extremely pleased with my High Definition Picture and the service of the MotoSat Satellite equipment.

Motosat builds a model called HD-DP3. It is designed for Dish Network HD, and sees all 3 of their satellites at once. It only works when you are stationary, and takes about 3 minutes to lock on. You really need to turn on the control box, and press the (find) button. Wait for a lock light, and then watch your programs. Motosat has the best warranty in the industry, 3 years, and properly installed are pretty much trouble free. Motosat's only business is making RV satellite locating systems, and they have been at it longer than anyone else in the industry. Pretty hard to go wrong with any of their products. I would not use any thing else.

Thank you for your input having used king dome for 4 years it has not be real good. Not having the dvr makes it unsatisfactory. Thanks again Lee 2004 Intrigue 11784
