I have a variety of questions related to my coach.
Can anyone suggest a product to clean the ultra-leather material used on the couches and driver and passenger seats? We have some spots that won't come clean with mild soap and water.
My waste hose leaks a bit at the spots where the clamps attach the hose to the plastic fitting at each end. I've tightened the clamp as tight as I can get it, but it still dribbles a bit. Any suggestions?
Finally, when we have had some rain and there is water on the roof, we get some leaking through the two large a/c grills in the ceiling inside the coach. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks for any assistance with these issues.

For cleaning the UltraLeather, I've found "Wipe Out" works great for removing stubborn spots. (888-284-9302) We use it to clean LOTS of stuff in and outside the rig. We bought it when in JC from a "local vendor." I'm not affiliated with the product but have found it works as promised.

Jan, with all due respect, Ted Peterson, the guy who drags the trailer around behind his Safari selling wipe out, has been banned from CC rallies, and Camp CC, told to not return to Davis Cabinets parking lot and the same at Carriers. He is rude, pushy, crude, and has NO manners. Regards, Candace Hollick

Candace, and any others..I was not aware of the salesperson of Wipeout being asked to leave anywhere...all I know is that I'm happy with the product we bought which works as described and eliminates a lot of other cleaners we have to carry around. It's cleaned my Ultraleather better than any other cleaner I tried...that's all I cared about.

I have also been using the Wipe-Out products and like them. The "Show Room Shine" keeps the coach looking nice on the outside, and does a good job on the windows, too

From: "Tony Ferrara" tferrara@...> (snip) > My waste hose leaks a bit at the spots where the clamps attach the hose to the plastic fitting at each end. I've tightened the clamp as tight as I can get it, but it still dribbles a bit. Any suggestions? I've heard good things about the red fittings, which are threaded to match the sewer hose spiral. They apparently simply "screw" in and need no clamps.
some leaking through the two large a/c grills in the ceiling inside the coach. Has anyone else experienced this problem? It's a common/eventual problem. Simply remove the ceiling grilles and tighten the mounting bolts which compress the roof gasket between the A/C (or heat pump) units and the roof. My instruction manual says that the three 1/4" bolts should be evenly tightened to a torque of 40 to 50 inch pounds, which will compress the roof gasket to approximately 1/2".
This may have to be repeated as mileage and time goes on and the gasket may have to be replaced eventually.
Our '98 Intrigue had the problem when we bought it 16 months ago, so I simply tightened the bolts and haven't had a problem since.
