Last yr we had a gas Motorhome. We left N J and arrived in Fla there the transmission went out in Tampa. Not knowing where to go we were towed to a local RV & auto shop. To make a long story short they had to replace 2 transmissions before we got to Georgia putting less then 1200 miles on the transmission. In Georgia the 3rd transmission had to be installed, but this time we went to Aamco. It was installed properly and north we went. When we were in Georgia we contacted Chase Mastercard because that's who I thought would protect us.........boy was I wrong. Their last letter came on Friday saying they can not help us because we traveled out of state and traveled over 100 miles. So beware on using their credit card they won't help you in time of faulty workmanship. That transmissions cost us over $5,000. and with repeated letters to Chase Bank I find they never contacted the owner of the shop that did the faulty repair on the RV. They said it wasn't their job to contact them. I never thought a large bank like Chase would leave us with this nightmare. Today we are the (I hope) proud owners of a DIESEL Country Coach. So far enjoying it. Thanks for reading my story. Just hope no one else has the same experience.

Your coach had a Ford or Workhorse chassis, I presume. Ifd you had taken it to a Ford or authorized Workhorse facility, then the warranty would have been good across state lines. So when your Allison goes south and you have the choice of going to xyz for repairs or having the coach towed three hundred miles, have the coach towed... TWI 11731. We all have decisions to make and I have made my share of wrong ones, that seemed proper at the time.
But, if I had just counted to ten and thought; I could have retire years earlier on the money I would have saved and been able to invest.
