My allison will down shift (no often) when I hit a bump in the road (takes a good bump to do it) then it will shift right back to where it should be-

Question- Is this commom?

I've experienced the same thing. After hitting a bump the RPMs would jump up and I could hear the engine speed increase. It lasted a second or two then returns to normal. I'm in for service next week at JC and it is on my list I submitted for the appontment.

I'll let you know what they say.
