Any suggestions for replacing the original tires on 40' Intrigue?

I just replaced the tires on my 99 intrigue. I spoke to Paul the C.C. tire guy at Les Schab's in Junction City and I asked him which tire he would put on if it were him, and his recommendation was toyo over the michelin and they sell both . His reason was that toyo stands behind their tires better and they cost less so I purchased toyo's.
Some people have concerns with the ride and driveability with toyo tires, however, my coach drives great but it takes 105 to 110 psi in the front and at 100 or less it wants to wonder.

I put 275R80/22.5 Continentals on my 98 Allure. It allowed me to drop the tire pressure, lower the rpm 150+ revolutions and really improved the handling, ride, feel and cornering. Plus they cut down the road noise. TWI 98 Allure 32055, now Intrigue 11731, 2004.

Replacement tire have been round and round (ha, ha,) on this post. Here's my take on it. I have a 99 40' Intrigue with the dinette slide (great room).
My coach came with 275x70 22.5. They are the low profile, high rated tires. Mine were Toyo brand. I changed them all with 275X80 22.5 Michelin. The 80 series is about 1 1/2 inches taller than the 70 series and has a load rating just a tad less than the low profile tire.
I really can't tell any difference in ride because I think the coach rides just great. I do like the way the tire appears larger and fills us the opening.
The speedometer appears to be of by 5 to 7 mph, but not enough to cause concern.
I also went with Smart Tire while the change was being made. It's a great feature!
CC Tech's cautioned that the tire may rub on the wheel well in the event of an air bag failure, but I don't believe so. I have to dump all the air to get in my garage and rubbing is minimal if any.

Hind sight is 20/20. This is a good example of why I carry an unmounted spare! If you need it to get going I'll ship it to you for just the shipping cost. It is used. I can also check with my dealer here in S/Mo who will ship you a new one if they have one. Let me know if I can help.

Call Les Schwab in Junction City, OR 800-257-8430 they will have your tire & can ship it to your nearest Les Schwab dealer or possibly to your location...They did it for me this past summer when I also couldn't locate a tire in the southwest. Toyo also gave me $100 dollars on a 5 1/2 year old tire that had a split in the sidewall that I could put a quarter in...I drove with the tire like that for 1100 miles until I could get a replacement tire.

I bought replacement Toyo tires for my 99 Intrigue this summer from a dealer in Broadway Virginia which is about 100 miles south of Washington DC. They had to order the tires, but had no problem getting them.

That is the reason I put a spare tire in my coach this summer. I made a rack and suspended the spare from the ceiling in the big bay. Lost some storage space, but have peace of mind knowing that I have an extra tire.
