I see posts re: an ISB or an ISC engine... according to my manual I have a 6CTA 8.3 liter 325 HP Cummins. Is it one of these or something else altogether?
Thanks,
Dave

Your engine is apparently as you've described it ... a "C" engine, which is considered "mechanical" rather than "electronic." It was replaced in ~'99 by the ISC/electronic control engine, which apparently had at least 330hp.
There are proponents for the mechanical engine, as there are proponents for the electronic ones 'cause they each have their advantages/disadvantages.
FWIW, we have the same engine you have. And it was a $5K+ option when new over the 300hp engine! I'm glad the original owner ordered it .

We are very pleased with our 98. It has lots of real nice options including the washer/dryer. The snack tray is OK but certainly not worth $325. When we bought our coach last fall we were looking for a 36 non slide and were pleased to find it.
