A friend, who's a cabinet maker, is constructing a dashboard cabinet for our '98 Intrigue, similar to what's pictured in the group's photo section. I'm sure he won't want us to pay much for it, since he's done favors for us in the past. But, since I'd like to pay him a fair price, I'd appreciate it if someone can tell me how much they paid for their cabinet.

I had one built at Lazy Days. Outstanding finish work. It holds three 8x10 books (Trailer Life, Exit Authority, etc.) and several shelves. It is deep on one end and shallower on the other. They built it to conform to all the space they could find in that cabinet area. Cost over $700.00.

Still have my 2003 40' Allure for Sale

My cabinetmaker friend delivered and installed our dashboard cabinet today.
It came out well. The face and doors are walnut and the doors are equipped with European (i.e., hidden) hinges). While the quality of the unit is not as good as the original CC cabinets, it is absolutely fine. And he only charged me $135 (I gave him more).
