Title: 99 Allure headlights

I have read somewhere that the headlights on the '99 Allure are the same as the ones on the big Ford Bronco. Does anyone know the specific year model that they used? I have one that I really need to replace.

Brian,

I purchased one at CC while I was there in June. The box > says "1987-1991 FD Bronco Pickup".

Hope this helps

Egon: Try the aftermarket version. They are available through auto body supply houses that carry Asian replacement parts. That's what Country Coach uses. Notice that they are stamped "Depot". That's the aftermarket brand. They seem to be alright. Many Motor Home manufacturers use them in their new units. Ford OEM will be about 50% higher. If it's good enough for brand new coaches, it's probably good enough, huh?

I found Bronco headlights online
www.carpartswholesale.com for roughly $94.00. Is that more expensive than CC?

I think that CC's price is $70+.

Hi Egon.

In case you don't already have enough info on the headlights, here is something I got from an e-mail to CC (I'm having the same problem). Jorie R. Leever, the Technical Support Rep advised that one might be obtained from the local Ford dealer under part number E7TZ-13007-C (early Bronco style), but if they didn't have it, it is available from CC under part number 08248. I didn't get any prices, so you're on your own there.

Have you tried buffing out the lense surface, used to do it twice a year on my Allure. Or is the problem on the inside of the lense? twi 30255 98 Allure, 2004 Intrigue

The seals are bad and moisture collects on the inside giving it that fogged in look. Not good.
