We have a 2001 Intrigue with the ZipDee awnings. Does anyone use any kind of tiedown with these? Do they stabilize them significantly? Thanks...Jan

Jan - We picked up some at CW that screw into the ground and they work nicely. If you are in sandy type soil they do not hold quite as well. It is a bit of insurance let's say if you are parked in the same place for a while.
I always worry with the big awning out that wind will come up when we are gone and whip the thing over!!

Just don't trust it 100% - Use your best instincts if going to be away from the coach for a while.
