I'm now the proud owner of CC # 11224 a 2001 Intrigue. I flew out last Monday and drove it home to Escondido from the Memphis area. What a great "shakedown" run.
I already have a question to ask from the vast amount of knowledge that resides here.
I have a key that I can't ID. It is a round key, short, with inside fluted "grooves". It has "C & K" on one side and "AAAA" on the other side.
I have finally found where it goes but there is no markings indicating what it does.
The key fits into a lock located to the left of the drivers seat, below the window and at the "back side" of the transmission/light panel.
The key turns a quarter turn.
Any ideas ??

Hi Michael and Nancy
On my 02 Allure that key allows you to check engine diagnostics codes. You will have to look at the manual for complete instructions but briefly you turn the switch on and, using the idle adjust switch to advance through the list, the diagnostic codes will read out on the red and the yellow engine lights. (I think you count the blinks and the pauses between blinks) Which manual you ask? Good question. I have a note here that says to look in the "big loose- leaf manual on page 7.181" for codes.
Good luck
Andy
The truth about our gas prices.
Why are we low on oil? Simple - we forgot to check it.
Our oil is in Alaska, Oklahoma and Texas.

Andy,
Thanks for the information.
I'll take a look.
There is a Silverleaf system installed on this coach. Would that mean there is duplication ?? Do the diagnostic codes render information that is already compiled and displayed by the Silverleaf system ??
On the #7.181 section...that section in my CC 3 ring binder labeled "Users Guide" is all Electrical Schematics. I do have another 3 ring binder for the Dynomax chassie and one for "Informational Packets" from the OEM's. I'll check them tomorrow.
Looks like I have reading material for several days.

Hi Michael and Nancy
I'm not surprised we have different manuals.
As far as I know the same information is displayed by the Silverleaf as you would get from the blinking lights. I think Silverleaf gets it's info from the same place. I have the VMSpc and it gives me quite complete diagnostics info. I have only checked using the light blink codes once when the coach was new. Seemed like a lot of trouble.
