What a way to end a great thanksgiving...no access to my bed, etc. I did not bring my keys with me as I didn't lock the coach. It is parked in my friend's yard in the middle of nowhere and there were people around and about all day.
Anyway, when I returned to the coach, I couldn't open it as it had locked by itself.
Has anyone else had this problem? What is the fix? Can CC fix it?
Have a locksmith (thank goodness for AAA Plus!) on the way.
But, what should I do in the time before my next appointment at Junction City?

I have a key vault mounted in my propane bay which has no keyed entry. The key vault contains entry keys. Have a similar vault mounted on my garage door frame at my house. Both have proven quite useful as you have just demonstrated.
Home Depot, Lowes etc in their key department @ $30.

some brands of alarms have a mode in which they "self-arm" after so many seconds. My coach alarm has a toggle switch under the dash, above the accelerator pedal to set modes.
I had a GMC van that would lock the doors while you were gassing up if you forgot to set the switch properly. I hated that thing.

On our walkthru, our tech locked us out of the coach as he didn't know CC changed the default entry keypad code. Right then and there I decided to keep a set of keys outside somewhere. We have one of the aforementioned key vaults on our FL house in case the neighbors have to get in ... never thought of using it on our MH, thank you.
I have read that occasionally CC has random elec troubs, another reason we vow to keep a key somewhere. Sounds like you just experienced one.

Our situation isn't the same as yours 'cause our CC is old-fashioned ; however, Geri carries a separate set of keys in her purse. In addition, to help me from losing my set, I've attached 'em to a lanyard (NASCAR's Mark Martin, #6 ), which not only makes it convenient to carry (around my neck), but makes them VERY visible wherever I put them down. As I said ... our situation isn't yours ... but this is what works for us.
FWIW, I do like the idea of a key vault, as suggested, and I'll probably get one.

We had the problem with our older Magna. When the screen door slider is closed and the outer door closes over it, it pushes the inside lock mechanism and Voila!!..... you're locked out. If your unit works the same way, then it sounds like someone was peeking inside your coach while you were gone, thought you left a screen open, and did you the favor of closing it.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my question. It appears that the lock isn't self alarming as it hasn't done that before...but there is always a first time for everything, isn't there? The locksmith opined that the lock was down just a smidgeon when I slammed the door and the slamming made it go all the way down. No problems since Thanksgiving evening so maybe he was correct.
I like the idea of a key vault and will help the stock for Lowes go up next week, David and Karen. GGG
My key lanyard would be #24, Jeff Gordon, but neither your guy nor mine won the championship this year, Dick (& Geri) grrrrrrrr do NOT like that Kurt Busch OR the new championship format - but that is another board! LOL
I now have my keys in my pocket - where they usually are when I'm away from the coach. >
