Anyone have any information good or bad with Creative Coach in Lakeland, FL regarding body work?

I have worked with them and gotten estimates for the complete repainting of the coach, they also replace my carpet and some of the furniture. They are a first class outfit, not the cheapest but they do outstanding work and stand behind it.

John,
When you say "not the cheapest" what was the charge for carpet replacement?
Thanks

Actually the charge for the carpet replacement was 50% of what Emerald Coast RV and Lazy Daze estimated and the carpet was an upgrade from the quality that was OEM. The workmanship was impressive and the extras performed, pieces for under drivers feet and in front of kitchen sink were outstanding. I asked for a quote on redoing the clear coat on the whole Coach except roof, which I have already done, and the answer was between 5 and 8K depending on the condition of the current paint. They indicate they had one expert who did all of their painting so it would take about one week to complete. There was another couple there and they stayed in their coach while work was being done( replacement of couch with air mattress sleeper) and other coach were there from complete rebuilds to TV upgrades.
Hope this helps. With the latest string of messages on new coaches taking care and upgrades on current ones may be the way to go. I can live with the minor problems I have.

John, approximate $ amt. for the carpet? Yes, I am keeping mine, don't want to go through all the hassle of getting a new coach ready to go on the road. I figure that with about 6,000 miles per year the coach will probably outlast me. This way the small problems that the coach will get I'll just look at it as I do at my aches and pain--- old age is getting to us.
Thanks,
Egon

I paid about $2600.00 for top of the line Mohawk carpet, They would have install the identical carpet that came in the coach for $2495.00 but there was a significant difference in quality. they laid it though-out the coach(living Room, Slide, Bedroom and Bedroom walls and pedestal. The quote from Emerald Coast was $5800.00 and Lazy Days was about the same as Emerald Coast but they would take 6 months to get me in so they could give me a quote.
I also got price quote from local carpet dealers and they were cheaper but the quality of the carpet was poor and the plush could not be too thick or they would not install it. Their prices where in the $1500.00 range
I had to replace the carpet because the Hurricane heat exchangers under the kitchen stove leaked antifreeze into both the living room and bedroom. The fix for the heat exchangers was $25.00, If I would have inspected them on a regular basis I could have saved myself some bucks.

Tom,
We live 30 miles from Creative Coach and I have never heard a bad thing about their work. I also know they are not cheap but when you see their work you will understand why.

Thanks Bill,
Based on the comments from the Board, I have made a January 3rd appointment for the work.
