What brands of antifreeze mix are best to use in the Cummins?

Hi Mike,

You are attempting to reopen a large can of worms.
Past threads have worked this issue to great lengths.
The color is blue - no greens or oranges, no car antifreeze just Cummins Compleat with the proper DCA additives. Read your documents that came with the coach.

Geez Fred, my 02 was green, always green, and green added per Cummins manual using proper big truck heavy duty specs. I then suplimented with the correct DCA filter based on the Cummins test strip.

This should be fun again....

Hi Tom,

There is apparently two kinds of green - the bad kind used in cars and the good kind used in trucks - the same color but with different additives or no additives. The statement still holds, I believe, that using car antifreeze is not recommended by Cummins or Country Coach.
In fact, if more than a gallon is added, a flush and fill is required.
