Does anyone know how to flush and replace the anti-freeze in the Hydro-Hot?

Depends on what model and type of coolant you have. Ours is pink and you mix it half and half with water. We've never drained it.
You can check on Roger Berke's website and it might have more info.

The previous owner put in the wrong anti-freeze and contaminated the anti-freeze in the system and the unit would not transfer heat. As I remember, with advise from Roger, I drained the system thru the drain valve on the bottom of the unit (these are originally plastic and very prone to leaking). I refilled with distilled water (maybe not necessary) and ran the system with heat on for an hour or so to fully circulated the water and then re-drained the system. Refilled with 50@ distilled water and 50% -100 Boiler Fluid. Kind of like draining your engine and just trying to get as much of the contaminated fluid out as possible. Not necessary to change unless the system gets out whack.

Dear lonny and Diane,
Just wondering....I am about to get new batteries this Wednesday and was just curious on what kind you have since we both have the same kind of coach....Appreciate you feedback and/or opinions. Thanks!

Scott,
we bought ours in 2009 at Interstate Batteries in Tampa FL.
We bought 2 AGM Lifeline GPL-8DL Deep Cycle RV Marine Batteries (the same brand that came from the factory in our coach) Interstate Batteries also installed them as they are very heavy!!
We also bought a cranking battery - an Interstate Brand 8DXHD
Several companies sell them. You can look for distributors at: http://www.lifelinebatteries.com/rv.php (http://www.lifelinebatteries.com/rv.php)
They are a lot more expensive now than when we bought ours. I won't even tell you the prices we paid because it will make you sick how much they've gone up. I would shop around to find the best price. We did that and Interstate Batteries was the cheapest. Might be cheaper in Oregon without the sales tax if you can get free shipping.
Hope this helps. Lonny & Diane we're in Suffolk, VA right now, headed to Harper's Ferry KOA

Hi Scott - You might also want to search the message board for Lifeline, look for Tom. He gave me good advice, and helped with competitive prices. A straight shooter.
If you boondock often, also consider 4 16L's in the place of the 2 8D's today. 800ah capacity.
Best of luck,
Smitty
