I was just getting ready for a trip this Monday. Fueled, filled the propane tank and came back home. While walking around the coach after shutting it down I heard the water pump going in the back drivers side bay. It does not seem to want to shut off. I went ahead and disconnected the hot lead but wonder if it should be running ?? Is there a switch somewhere I should check ?? Any ideas ??

than to service the coach, the pump will keep running.

Michael:
Sorry, that response went before I finished. I did have an air lock that caused the pump to run continuously.
There are also three switches ( at least on my coach) you can check:
1. above the entry door
2. In the potty room
3. In the utility bay
If it is on the red light will be lit.

I had something similar happen. It was just an air lock.

Hi Michael,
Is your fill valve shutoff?

My coach has an off and on switch to the right of and under the counter top in the bath area. John 2002 Allure

Fred,
The manual mentions, but does not specify location of a water pump switch in the water bay. Also only mentions an "off" position for the water valve when switching from fresh water tank to city water. I'll go down to the coach in the morning and look closely at the "T" valve to see if it is marked.

Chuck,
I have 1 and 2. I'll check on 3.

Hi Fred,
I don't really know. Based on Arthur's info there is more going on in that utility bay that I realized. I'm going to the books. I did find the valve. There are no markings that I can see to indicate what each position does. Let me see what I can find in the manuals to explain it and go from there.

Michael,
The water fill value is located in your water bay on the left hand side. This is the valve you use to fill your fresh water tank. You mentioned that you just filled your water tank - so I assume you did not switch the valve back to the normal position. This leaves your pump discharging into your fresh water tank and never building up head pressure to shut off the pump.

I have a different problem pertaining to water pump shutoff. My coach has two momentary contact switches (over front door and in bathroom) which have a red light lit when the pump has power (but not necessarily pumping/running). Sometimes the power refuses to turn off (i.e., red light does not go out), regardless of which switch I repeatedly rock. Sometimes it helps running water while trying to turn off the pump power. Eventually, I get the power turned off. I think I heard them might be a controller board problem for the water pump located behind the panel above the entry door.
Anybody experience this?

I do not know for sure how to fix. But the first place I would look is the set of switches/selonides(sp) that control the pump swithes.
I am not sure where they are either but would have to look at the circuit diagrams to find out. Call CC tech service also.
