Call the Heart people in Arlington, WA. It might just be the 'slow blow' fuse in the inverter. We had that problem, had power in but no power out - called and they thought it was just a fuse - drove from Joplin, MO to Arlington, WA before inverter was fixed - next problem was the generator but that's another story - It took only about 20 minutes to unhook the inverter, replace the fuse, and hook it back together. Didn't try tapping it!!

I have been the whole route on the inverter in my 99 Intrigue. I finally replaced the &%$#thing and have had no problem at all with the new one.
The factory Hart Interface inverter has a serious design defect in the series CC installed during that era. The circuit boards connect when you install the front panel. The contact points corrode and your problems begin.
Some folks had gold plated contacts installed as fix. I was advised to try spraying contact cleaner on them by removing the front panel enough to access the contact points. It was a hell of a job leaning back over the batteries and trying to access the points. It only lasted a couple of months and I began to lose one side of the 110 power. The temporary fix was to rap on the side with a broom handle and it worked for a couple of days.
I took the easy but expensive way out and replaced the blasted thing.

Larry, Unfortunately I, too, am having problems with the inverter in my 99 Intrigue (10776). Both output circuits drop to about 95v occasionally when a heavy load is applied. Not sure what panel you're refering to with defective contacts. I've completely removed the darn thing and removed the cover, looking for anyting obvious. Nothing! I've contacted Zantrex (who bought out Heart) and they tell me this can't happen! What unit did you replace yours with. I have a Heart Combi Freedom 20D and it appears that the Zantrex 458 is a close replacement, but haven't researched that much yet.
Thanks,
Greg
