We are sitting here at Fort Wilderness enjoying our new Affinity, great weather BTW. I went to open a crank out window, and noticed three of the little alum clips that are bonded to the glass that lock the panel have fallen off.

Apparantly the 'assembly professional' that had glued these on did not clean the glass correctly.

We are taking it back Feb 9th to Lazy Days for our new sofa/sleeper and some other things, but wondered if I could stick these back on in the meantime. What should I use ... super glue ???

The current adhesive appears to be a clear, hard substance almost like silicon. It has bonded to the alum well, so I might just try and reglue over this present layer after cleaning with alcohol.

Thanks for any advice. I expect a few problems on a new coach, but stupid stuff like this drives me nuts ... sloppy assembly proceedures.

Thanks,

John and Terry

Try rear view mirror adhesive from automotive source (even Walmart).

Thanks, thought about that, but I thought maybe someone knew what CC uses in case there is some compatability problem.
I most likely just wait and have LD fix, they have to replace several of the windows anyway (fogged).
