If anyone is in the Florence they owe it to themselves to drive down the coast about 30 miles to Winchester Bay and stop in at Kitty's Kitchen, Where Christmas is Forever. Miss Kitty makes some of the most awesome pies and cakes that you have ever eaten. If you eat in Florence, by the time you get to Winchester Bay your food will have settled and will have room for a piece of her pie. Or better yet, just go there and skip Florence. Won't do your diet much good but you will have a better outlook on life. We usually spend about 30 days a year at the Marina RV Park there. It is a first class county park. You need to check this place out. Reservations a must.

We have been known to visit Miss Kitty twice a day sometimes. By the way, tell Kitty that John and Merilee from Mt. Shasta sent you and WE SAID THAT YOU WOULD GET A BIGGER PIE OF PIE OR CAKE.
We're out of the snow and on the way to Florida, if we can get over the hills and past LA.

Thanks, John and Merilee! Will tell my Florence friend about this.
She has just recently moved to Florence and is exploring a lot.
