Title: Rockwell RV Park in Oklahoma City

Anyone stayed there? I am going to school at the FAA Academy for a month, at the end of March, and this looks a decent and convenient place to stay. Plan on taking the MH as FAA contract housing leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone have an opinion about Rockwell RV Park in Oklahoma City?

Thanks,
Mike

I forgot....only issue was that the whole campground is dirt, very little grass and the mud puddles were pretty big after it rained.

I stayed there last winter and found it to be decent and it is convenient to OKC locations. There is a Camping World just across the Interstate if you feel like shopping after learning.
Some of the corners are a little close, but I made it around with my 40 footer without having to back up.

The staff were really nice and I was wishing we had time to take advantage of the indoor swimming pool, but we were doing other touristy stuff instead.

Mike-

Don't have any personal knowledge of the park you mentioned, but we've found this site to be helpful. Your park has been reviewed there, along with others in the area.

Mike,

Being from Oklahoma, I have stayed at Rockwell RV Park several times. Have also stayed at Roadrunner RV Park several times.
Roadrunner will be a little farther from the FAA Academy but would be my first choice if I were in your situation. The reference to
www.rvparkreviews.com is germane. Compare the comments at that website with respect to these two parks. They express my opinion as well.

Terrific....you all have been a great help. I knew that I could count on my fellow Country Coach Owners to lend a hand.

Thanks.
