Need advice on rearview camera. It rained in our location for 2 weeks. Upon getting ready to leave for the FMCA rally in Indio, the camera just showed a black screen. At the rally, we were able to see shadows of the units behind us. When we returned we had a fair picture with a little bit of color in one corner. Just turned it on again and there is nothing to see. It is almost a white screen with horizontal lines moving from bottom to top. Anyone ever have a similar experience and if so, what did you do to repair it? Everyone else feel free to weigh in with your guestaments of what to try, please. I'm lost, haven't a clue as to what to try.
Thanks,

I had the same problem on coach 11467 and eventually found that by pulling the camera plug apart from the cable plug and reconnecting it everything worked perfectly again. You can access these plugs via the lower inspection cover located on the rear wall of the closet.

Hi Stan
Mine went black and stayed black so it may not be the same problem.
Inside the panel in front of the passenger seat I found 2 inline fuses. One of them must have cost CCI at least 3 cents. It was pretty much disintegrated. I replaced it with one that cost 25 cents. Every time something breaks I try to upgrade it. FYI, I had to dig to find the bad one. It was hiding behind the whole one and some wires down near the floor.
Good luck
Andy
The truth about our gas prices.
Why are we low on oil? Simple - we forgot to check it.
Our oil is in Alaska, Oklahoma and Texas.
OUR DIPSTICKS ARE IN WASHINGTON.

Thank you! We found the inspection opening, pulled the plug apart & plugged it back in; and now the screen works! Appreciate your help! Stan

I'm glad my suggestion helped. There are two groups of people that make owning one of these coaches a generally enjoyable experience. One is the many other owners that frequent this site and the other is the Country Coach service techs. There are also many good third party technicians, but unfortunately there seems to be an equal number of bad ones. Anyway the life style is very special to all of us. Have safe travels and we'll see you down the road.
