Can anyone tell me if it is legal to pull into an open state weigh station and get an accurate weight on coach and toad?

John,

Most of the major truck stops (Flying J, Love's,Travel Centers of America) have scales where one can get total weight of your rig in addtion to axle weights.

In Oregon you can pull into a closed scale and get all your weights.
I spent a half hour getting axle weights, right side only weights, with tow dolly and car, without tow dolly, etc.
