I can no longer hear the SaniFlush jets rinsing down the sides of my black tank. Water is entering the tank as I can hear it running out through the waste hose. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it? Thanks again for any help you can provide.

I had a similiar problem on the passenger side you should see the fitting going into your tank if you remove this you may fine debri that prevents the water to enter the tank and flush it out hope it helps. Lee 04 Intrigue

Tony Ferrara,
I'm not familiar with the Inspire model. I would hope that CC gave you an access panel to get to the nozzle. If they did it is a simple job. You'll need to remove the nozzle & clean out with a drill bit.
Your owner's Sani-Flush manual will tell you what size drill bit to use and the reinstallation procedure which includes resealing with silicone. I usually have to do mine about once a year. I have found that it tends to clog if I let my black tank get much over half full while I travel.
Hope this helps..................

Steve, I found a card re installation of the system, but no instructions as to how to get to the nozzle. On my 03 Allure it seems I would have to remove the large panel covering all the valves, etc. to get to the nozzle. I think I'll wait and talk to a CC tech before pursuing this. Thanks for the input.

Walt,
The Saniflush nozzle is directly behind the access panel in the heating bay and is directly under the lip that hoild the rectangular access panel in place. If you use a thin bladed knife you can cut through the caulking along the top and sides of the curved plastic cover. This will release the cover and allow you to pull it out far enough to give you some working room.
I did not do the work myself but watched a LazyDays Tech replace the nozzle. BTW after he had relpaced the nozzle and siliconed it in place he waited 24 hours while the silicone cured and then moved the entire panel back in place and recaulked at the top and sides. If I had known it was that simple I would have done it myself and saved a few $$$.

At a homecoming rally, the CC techs cut a rectangular piece from the panel, then reattached it with small clips. This gives great access to the nozzel.

This sounds like a great idea. I'll see if I can get it done at the Moultrie rally.
Thanks,

Thanks, Jose, but I think I'll see if I can get the techs to fix it at the Moultrie rally with a permanent access door.

Walt,
My coach is a late '98 and CC supplied no access. My understanding was that newer coaches had an access--I guess the Allures do not. My nozzle is on the passenger side of the coach in the "wet bay". I cut an opening just like the access hole for the water pump and had CC send me a water pump access hole cover & clips. I would encourage you to do the same & not take the entire panel loose as you would be doing way more work than is necessary. Once I had the access hole, removing & repairing the nozzle became a very easy job. The key is where to put the access hole. I was assisted by someone on this board with a similiar model as mine who knew where to cut the opening. Maybe someone with an Allure who has put in an access door could assist you if you decide to go that way. If you find the tanks were positioned the same in a '99 Intrigue and your Allure I can give you the measurement for where the access hole should be placed.
Hope this helps................

Jose, I'm confused. In my Allure the potty is on the driver's side and I assume the black tank is directly below it. The heating bay is on the curb side. Is waste being routed all the way across the coach, or is it the grey tank you had the problem with?

Thanks, Steve. You refer to the "wet bay" as being on the passenger side in your coach. Did you mean to say " driver's side?"

Walt,
No. My wet bay runs from the left side to the right side of the coach in the 5th basement door back. On the drivers side is the water pump & black & grey valve. On the passenger side is a compartment lined in fiberglas in case of a water spill it drains out the bottom.
On the '98 Intrigue the black tank & grey tanks are side by side.
They run from the drivers side to the passenger side. The black tank is forward of the grey tank. In early '98 the Sani-Flush was on the drivers side, but in late '98 CC moved it to the passenger side.
Just to clarify...........

Walt,
The black and grey tanks both extend from the drivers side to all the way to the heating bay on the passenger side. At least they do on my Allure. When I had the Saniflush problem the techs went directly to the heating bay and removed the access panel. However, with the access panel removed he still did not have enough room and thats why he cut through the caulking.
However, I think that adding an access panel, as someone suggested, to get to the Saniflush nozzels is a great idea.

thanks, Jose, you cleared up my questions. I've decided to wait until Moultrie and see if I can get the techs to fix the problem.
