Does anyone know what this bulletin is about and what problem they are fixing? I wonder if its related to my need to replace the air cleaner after only 2500 miles.

Re: [Country-Coach-Owners] Warranty Bullietin for '05 Intr I am having 4 Country Coach service bulletins done to my 04 Intrigue this week at Beaudry RV in Tucson. They all relate to various problems with the new C-13 Cat engine and an overheating problem. SB 04-24 is the major one (would assume it is the same with your 05 C-13) and involves replacement of the fan, filters, cooling grate, air intake etc. CC allows 24 hours labor for just the one service bulletin. Bottom line is that CC did not provide for adequate cooling on this engine. and needs to beef it up. My coach shut down entirely at the 12,000 level of I-70 in Colorado just as I entered the Eisenhower tunnel. Not pretty! Every C-13 owner needs to have it done unless they modified the cooling system on the latest releases.. You will need to get a cheap motel for a night or two. >:-o

Our 2004 Intrigue C13 was retrofitted with the air intake/heating upgrade in late November 2004. On a recent trip, the cooling performance was excellent on 7 percent grades at 55MPH we didn't have any temps above 205. As soon as the fan went full speed, the temp would quickly return to 188. Granted the ambient temps were 65 or so, much less than the 100 plus that we experienced 228 degrees at last summer on the same hills. I'm very optimistic that this fix really works.
