Somewhere down the line I had read about a campground that was just outside and across the river from New Orleans. Can anyone give me some info on this?

We just left New Orleans having spent a week at the New Orleans West KOA, http://www.koa.com/where/la/18125/ (http://www.koa.com/where/la/18125/)
Nice place, only about a 15 min drive down to the Quarter. Very friendly staff, quite place even though near the airport...flight path is not over the campground so never heard a plane.

Found the name of the campground that i was looking for in the New Orleans are. It is on the west side of the river about a 30 minute drive from the French Quarter.
