Would it be ok to dump the air out of your air bags when your coach is gonna sit for a month at a time. I have the HWH computized air system and I don't drive it in the winter time except maybe once a month, so while it sits I just dump the air out. Is this ok to do this? 1990 CC 36' Sedona # 4691

Hi Mike,
I typically dump most of the air anytime I am parked. With Jacks down, it lowers the load onto the jacks, then I level it after dumping air. Keeps the bottom step a little closer to the ground.
I don't know what is proper protocol since I l have no manual to provide guidance. My logic is the bags are just heavy duty balloons.
Of course this may flawed logic, as we don't let the air out of the tires when we park.
It would be interesting to see what others advise.
By the way. I thought you said you were a 1989? Did you find out otherwise?

Hi Dave, no it's a 1990 sorry if I said it was a 1989. I just thought there was a lot of weight on those bags just sitting there inflated. I don't have Jacks so it just lowers the coach a couple of inches and the steps don't hit when I open the door. Ya I don't know if there a protocol about this or not, but I'm sure I'll find out from somebody.
Take care,
