Not sure how many A5 users are out there ...

Ours works fine, have not tried it in wet weather yet. Once locked in though, it keeps searching. That's what is sounds like anyway.
Sounds coming from up top ... sounds of servos moving constantly.

Solid 80 signal and great picture, just wondering why it keeps searching. Me thinks I should turn this thing off when not using ... no sense in wearing out the bearings, etc, prematurely.

Just curious if this is normal

Thanks as always ...
John

John, yes it's normal. All inmotion dish's go in to a "Cone" search pattern to fine tune and to anticipate motion.

We were getting a little wind action too, which I assumed aggrevated the situation. Eventually quit and is quiet now. I didn't know if there was a way to disable the antenna search funciion like our Wineguard auto dish had, but no biggie.

So far the A5 is great, I hate that big dome on other coaches. We will see about the performance in wet weather.

Thanks,
John
