Richard,

Congratulations! We have a 2004 Inspire, DaVinci, # 51078 and absolutely love it.
What type of equipment you may need depends on how your coach is equipped and what you intend to do with it. for example, we have to have the ability to stay connected to the internet since we operate an internet based business. We purchase a Datastorm by Motosat high speed satellite dish and can stay online with a high speed connection virtually anywhere, anytime in the US as long as we are stationary.
So, let the group know what you intend to do with the coach and how it is spec'd out and I'm sure you will receive many helpful responses.

Congratulations. I also purchased a 2005 Inspire Genoa in December. I cannot tell you about personal equipment. However, three things that I added are:

Alpine Nav motorized screen (in place of the Panasonic radio) Silver Leaf VMS 200EL monitoring system (priceless investment) PressurePro tire monitoring system (would not be without it)

I've not heard of this tire monitoring system before. It is a lot less expensive than Smarttire...is it as good? What has been your experience with it?

Thanks.

The best thing about it is the ease of installation. Just remove the valve caps and replace them with the senders; then you program the display so it identifies each tire position. About 1/2 hour and the whole thing was displaying pressure in all tires. Its a blessing and a safety feature I would not be without. The reason I did not want to go with the Smart Tire is because it requires disasembling of all the wheels to install the sensors inside. Chech their site www.advantagepressurepro.com. The cost with 6 sensors was just under $500.00. The display is easy to see.

Question to owners of pressure Pro.....
Has anyone investigated whether this additional 2/3 oz weght on valve stem can cause premature valve stem damage? Results of failure would, I think, be serious.

Hi All, I owned an auto repair business for 42 years and IMHO this is old technology (unless it has been improved greatly) and can cause valve stem damage, breakage and leakage. If your valve stem breaks...you know the rest of the story! Hope this helps in your decision making process. Personally I am using Smarttire 2 on my coach and toad. Dale Hollick 05 Affinity 6370

Doran is made by Pressurepro. The long antenna is an option on both. I di not needed and have no reception problems. Last I checked, prices were within $10 for the whole set. I agree with Ray as to the reliability of Pressurepro.
