Hi Jan::

In early Nov. 2004 we had Davis build new cabinets for John Soden to install a 32" Aquos television. Shaun indicated that ours was the first modification on a 2002 Intrigue. Davis did a great job on the cabinets. We gained more storage in the front of the coach. We paid over $10,000 for the cabinets and the television. Replacement of the existing Panasonic sound system was never offered or suggested, although I complained about it, and would have gone for a new surround system.
After installation John Soden mentioned that for a couple of hundred more the new Aquos has the brain incorporated into the monitor. Instead we have a large (brain component) taking up space in the component cabinet. We would have gladly paid the additional. This necessatated replacing our VHS and DVD components with one unit.
I am sure the Aquos is a good system, however ours is not. When using either our antenna or campground cable we have lines on the screen. Some pictures over our satalite have blue or red snow in faces and other areas (very annoying). John Soden said he would fix our problems.
After leaving Davis we went to camp CC for two weeks. We placed numerous unanswered calls to John Soden without result. After two weeks we had to leave with our new TV still not fixed.
We are now faced with additional cost to have our unit fixed. This also presents another problem as Davis left no access area to the back of the monitor.
If you have a problem with Davis cabinets, Shaun will fix it. However, I cannot say the same for John Soden.
