Anyone have any experiece with fuel gauge failure. Not sure if it is the fuel sender unit mounted on the tank or wiring or the gauge itself. Does anyone in the group have CC troubleshooting procedures for this problem.
The pointer stays above the full mark and when the key is turned on the pointer makes a slight movement to the upper limit. I disconnected the quick disconnect wire at the tank sensor with no change in the reading.

Hi Travman,
Pointer at E = short, pointer at full = open line between gauge and tank sensor. Short the quick disconnect wire at the tank for starters.
You know the rest of the drill.
