My husband and I have a 2005 Allure 470. The Jamco sound system has been replaced twice already, and it just went on the blink again.
Our coach is new, picked it up Dec 21 2004. Anybody else having issues with this, or am I alone in my plight? Does weather, rain etc. effect it? ..............HELP........Dick and Michelle Bain

We have a Jamco amp in our Intrigue for the sub-woofer and it works fine so far. We've been using it for 1.5 months, ever since we got the coach.

Dick and Michelle-What sort of problems are you having with the JAMO?

JAMO?
has
a dvd. In addition, everytime it rains the system goes crazy. Just today the system was worked on again. It works as of now. The tech also did major adjustments to the speakers, the subwoofer and the front center speaker. This has been done before, it works until it rains, then we have problems again. We have begun to believe that there is a small amount of water somewhere in the coach, and everything goes crazy when it gets damp in there. Our Motosat is plugged in to the same area the Jamo, tv etc are and they all seem to have problems in the rain at this point. THanks, Michelle and Dick Bain

Hi, we have an Allure 470 with the Jamo system. We have been in a couple of real downpours with no problems. Even spent a week in a steady rain with no problems. I should note that we did have a clearance lite that leaked when we picked up the coach, but due my PDI list that I "stole" from the one that Mr. Hughes posted, it was found before we left the dealer and fixed. Maybe you should have someone look at them to see if water is getting in that way...????...
So far we are real pleased with the Jamo system, however, it does take a bit of patience to get it all set up to drive the speakers the way you want them to work and to set the sub woofer....
