I just purchased an 05 Acura MDX to replace the Suburban. Does anyone out there have any useful advice / real world experiences to make my taillight / brakelight wiring easier? I appreciate it.

Mike, our Honda CRV is similar. The rear lights are attached using a flexible plastic conduit, (directional, braking and tail lights) that goes all the way to the rear. (The front directional signals are not activated.) The plug is attached on the front between spaces in the grill. This is the same 4 pin plug type configuration that comes standard on CC coaches. Some part of the grill(plastic part) had to be cut out to put in all the systems. This included the M & G braking system air conection and the brake away system which has a cable attachment between the activator and the coach. Our system is legal in all states and Canada. Without the braking system, Canada is known to reject a toad. We have a falcon tow bar. Our complete system was done by Hitch Pro and Tow in Eugene for around $2,600 and took them about 1/2 day to install. They do so many installations they made it appear very easy. John 2002 Allure
