We bought our Affinity in November of 2004, a 2005 model.
Now I am hearing of 2006 models being ordered.
When does CC change model years ??? How can you order a 2006 in early 2005 ???
Just curious ...

John, Our coach, a 2002 Allure, was built in January 2001 according to black ink written inside the entry door when the cover was removed to repair the lock. Tire manufacture date is another clue as to when a coach was built. It appears they start building the next years model as early as possible. When a coach sits on a dealers lot, they don't want it to age a model year before being sold. This is typical of the industry with automobiles starting a little later in the year. John

Jay Howard told us at a rally that due to the vast amount of engineering and acquisition time needed to produce a new coach they could not change all their models on an annual schedule. That they would introduce new models as soon as they were able to complete the process more or less. Personally I think they prefer the spring intros to get the jump on everyone else, as they did with the Magna and Affinity. Of course some of us might say they were playing catch up. He further stated they didn't choose to completely redesign the Intrigue as the demand wasn't there yet.(2005 model) At least that's the way I remember, and I have 1/2 symer's.
