Hi Dale-
I am looking at CC Inspire. Loved them at the Novi Expo show over here in Michigan last month.
Looking at purchasing either a CC 40ft. or a Monaco Dynasty 40 ft. (I like Monaco's too) next year..
Looking at new as well as slightly used.
I am looking for great customer service support as well as a great MH.
I would need some help in the maintenance aspect of a MH.

Karen, If you can afford a Monaco Dynasty, you might want to consider looking at a CC Allure or Intrigue. I am not sure how they compare these days, but back when I was looking at a Dynasty (in 98) the salesman told me to look at CC Intrigue or Magna. I ended up buying a Magna and I have been a happy camper with CC ever since. Just a thought....

Sorry if you were put off by previous posts... if your read through, you will know why we got tough.
I am a solo woman and I own a 2000 Magna, so I understand about the maintenence issues you have to learn. As a matter of fact I have just recently written an article that is to be included in the next couple of Destination magazines from my perspective as an owner. I am not sure when it will be published but if you go to the Country Coach website you can request a subscription.
I have found that there are a combination of factors to learning about maintenance. I do not know what Monaco does, but we have rallies and particularly the annual Reunion in Oregon when we have great seminars and owner roundtables, as well as wonderful entertainment and social stuff. I have learned (and enjoyed) a trememdous amount by attending these rallies, meeting other wonderful owners and especially meeting with the management, service and tech support people over the years.
My coach is 5 years old and I continue to get wonderful support from folks at Country Coach. That is not to say we have not all had some beefs or complaints. That goes without saying no matter what brand coach you own. I also check out this owner's website for information as well and the owners on it are a trememdously intelligent and generous resource.
I also find that RVers are generally a very friendly lot who share information no matter what brand they own wherever you meet them.
Do you have particular things you are looking for on a coach? If so you might want to get competing sales brochures and compare options.
HOWEVER, I also highly recommend you do a factory visit and see how they are constructed and compare. It is often what you DON'T see that can be a problem. We are all taken by the cosmetic appeal and "new car smell" so to speak.
I am obviously going to be prejudiced, but my comparison led me to a Country Coach chassis, hands down, and I have never regretted my decision. I expect to live in this coach for many years.

Like Rosemary on the CC list, I am a single female, traveling alone. I have an '03 Allure. It has been nothing short of wonderful. My coach before this was a big lemon so I have really enjoyed the reliability of the CC. Before buying it, I drove a Monaco. Don't remember which one, but it was in the $450-$500 range. There was no comparison in the ride and handling. I have said it to others and will say it again---I would buy a used Country Coach before I would buy a new anything else. If I had known CC before my purchase, I would have bought used. You can get some great buys from people that either trade every couple of years or have a new coach and have to sell because of health or business.

Monaco owners have a group on yahoo. They will not allow anyone to post or even read the posts unless they are an owner. No lurking allowed. No questions from prospective buyers allowed. That is one of the reasons I looked more closely at Country Coach - the owners are more open to inviting others to jump on in.
Karen, if you are able to travel light, the Inspire is a good vehicle for you. I wish I had gotten a coach with a tag axel and higher CCC.

Interesting that you are on the Monaco Group. I tried and the moderator wanted my coach number, etc. before I could join. When I said I didn't have a Monaco, I was told I could not join the group.
