Things are not always as they appear, please refer to msg #14744, posted on Jan 29, 2005.
Here I am still a non CC owner, still "lurking", reading all the good, bad and ugly on this group forum and have learned a lot about DP ownership in general and different installed systems thereon. I am still working on the 1999 Intrigue but also at this point considering a Monaco. I have not as of yet received one post directed at answering my request. I had decided that the membership just routinly ignored non-owners. ...but thats okay, I'm still gleaning from the information posted herein. Then today all this comes up. Thanks, David

David,
There are some 99 owners on here, so I'm sure someone will respond.
I remember conversations regarding the change over from Gillig to Dynamax chassis.

David,
Owners are not ignoring non-owners posts as a rule... as you can see there are a few recently who are making their personal feelings known about not replying, but many others feel differently.
I suggest you re-post your question as a new thread. Sometimes very few owners are visiting the website or "lurking..." or just doesn't feel like replying to anything... not just your question. It is possible that no one that was on at the time may have had the answer.
We cannot see your original post now.
Not everyone's question gets a reply even if they are owners.
Try again.
I don't consider my comments "rants"... but you are free to think what you like. Not exactly a good way to encourage people to answer you... but good luck!
I think I will go back to "lurking..." :-0

Hi David,
I'm sorry no one ever replied to you message but here goes. My wife and I looked long and hard at Monaco Vs. CC. in the end my choice went to CC because of CC's willingness to stand behind their product and the quality we saw in the product. Sure there are things that disappointed both of us and problems with things that were not right but after 2 plus years we can not say we made a mistake or wish we had tried Monaco.
It's a huge investment and after all it is up to you to make a decision based on your needs and life style. IMHO- If you make an informed buying decision and have a little bit of luck in choosing a coach you will not be disappointed. BTW I still look at Monaco because they look so darned pretty.

And I don't know about *all* the Monaco products, of course, but the ones I looked at had shockingly small (for us) gray holding tanks. Forty gallons, from what I remember. Since we dry camp for up to 25 days at a time (so far), the larger tanks of our Intrigue are a big advantage over the Monaco's smaller tanks.
