Hi forum,
After much soul searching and a lot of reluctance, we will be hanging up the keys to the motorhome and looking for other avenues to explore.
Reluctantly, but positively, for sale:
2003 Magna, 42', Resort floor plan, 21,500 miles, 505 CAT C-12, galley and bedroom slide, light cherry cabinetry. Bought new, by us, in October 2002.
Coach has BOSE surround sound system, 42" plasma front TV, flat screen rear TV, Multi CD player, DVD, washer/dryer combo, quarter round shower with Corian walls, dishwasher. Also MotoSat satellite with RCA receiver (not the in- motion style). In 2002, we traveled to JC about six months before delivery to do the custom interior package which really sets the coach apart. The coach floor has porcelain tile from the bathroom forward and had two pads of NuHeat radiant floor heat all the way up to the drive and passenger seats. Girard box awning. Three pass through bays, two of which have bi-directional storage trays, 12.5 Onan generator, passenger seat has massage and heat and is the Buddy Seat.
The coach is pampered - garaged when not in use, no smokers. The coach does have slide frame electrolysis - we have a service slot at the factory just before this year's Class Reunion to have it repaired - a new owner could probably get that appointment.
The toad is a 2004 Chevy Malibu MAXX LT - 14K miles, Leather, loaded, XM, moon roof, etc. Roadmaster EZ tow brackets. I have the Brake Buddy brake assist/breakaway system.
We are currently at FMCA/Perry after attending CCI/Moultrie. Lazy Days, Guaranty and Buddy Gregg know our intent re any potential customers they have here at the convention. We're parked in Lot L on 4th Avenue. After that we're headed home to Tennessee.
NADA retail on the coach is $347K. I have been told Lazy Days has a similar coach on their lot with an asking price of $369K. We're looking for something in the $290s - a straight sale with no trades or tire kickers, please.
Haven't checked on what the Toad is worth - would consider selling it all for a fair price.
