Our 2004 Allure passenger side electric A&E awning goes virtually straight out when extended. With sun shinning on the passenger side of the coach, it provides very little shade and therefore is not very useful. It appears the angle of the awning is set so it does not touch the slide on that side when extended. I've seen other A&E electric awnings on other motor homes that are set to extend with a much lower angle to provide more shade. They either have a smaller slide below the awning or no slide below it. I've called A&E tech support and they say there is no way to adjust it so it slants down to provide more shade. It appears they are produced at the factory with the various extension angles set. Has anyone dealt with this problem and found a solution to getting better shade effect from the awning??
