To All,

Does anyone know how to get diesel fuel smell out of clothing? Dale changed the fuel filter and ended up getting sprayed with diesel fuel. His clothing got soaked and now my washer smells also. Thanks for any help. Candace Hollick

Hi Candace,

Cleaning fluid works, which is Naptha, you can get it at Ace Hardware, start with a gal. After soaking, hang it to dry outside. If any smell left, then wash it with Arm & Hammer detergent.

Hi Fred, Thanks for the reply. Does the Naptha get the stains (oily residue) and the smell out? The problem is that Dale put all his clothes in the washer and now the washer smells too. What can I use to get the odor out of the washer? Diesel really stinks! Right now all of the clothing is outside. Thanks again, Fred. Candace
