For all you Hurricane Heat owners, here's a new twist. The entire muffler assembly came off under the coach and was dragged until we finally heard the noise of it dragging along the ground. This is a bad situation that I feel is a design error. The muffler is clamped to the outlet pipe of the furnace and then there is another clamp on the outside frame. There really is no support for the weight of the assembly and all these bumpy interstates will manage to shake your exhaust pipes loose too. Country Coach should have two clamps to hold this assembly in as I'm sure there will be more of these problems. It had almost come off the outside frame before we could pull over and it would have passed into the rear duals with a possible resulting blow out. I'm going to suggest a fix to them on Monday when I call for a new assembly so stay tuned boys and girls.
Happy camper, the current number is 16 shop trips. time span 9 months.
