A member wrote me off board for further clarification about my use of CoPilot navigation. I wrote him back and he suggested I post here to the group as well.

I mentioned CoPilot 8, a GPS navigation software package for Windows computers. I am an Apple Mac guy and the question was, does this (fairly affordable) navigation software work under Virtual PC on the Mac. Yes and no is the answer. The CoPilot software does work under VPC and is pretty snappy. It runs flawlessly in a very helpful planning mode, but I've not been able to get the USB GPS antenna working under VPC, essential for live navigation. Therefore, as I said, I run CoPilot 8 on a compact Sony Vaio laptop in the RV and it works very well. It includes the propane-restricted routing option, etc.

It was also suggested that I clarify to your group that I am not marketing CoPilot or any other product. My signature does not include a CC serial number because I am currently traveling in a fifth wheel.
I am researching my next RV purchase, have test driven CC, and have very much appreciated the opportunity to learn about the CC ownership experience through this forum. I post very seldomly unless I believe I can offer some assistance. Thanks from Chris aka "wheeler"
