Looking for a good service plan for my 02 Magna.
Are they worth the money?

We purchased Good Sam's CSP for our 96 Intrigue and then again for our 99 Magna. This is the service plan our mechanic recommended. We feel like it was a good purchase.
There is a 200 or 250 deductible for each "visit". Ours cost about $1200 per year and has been worth it. We did better than break even but then there is peace of mind.
Our alternator quit on our Magna when we were coming home at the end of April and our ice maker had been messed up for a while. So when we returned home I took it in for both. The ice maker had to be replaced ($250 just for parts). We will see how the bill comes out.

I have found Warranty experts cheaper with better coverage. They can do a policy that covers everything, including wear and tear, and seals. They have always been less expensive than the others I have checked for the coverage they provide. I am getting ready to renew with them.
