On the batteries, I think I will go with 4 Trojan T-105's. I have been assured there is plenty of room. They are a true "deep cycle" battery.
As it is I like to get in there and tinker, so maintenace is not an issue.
I just had some AC work done and am trying to figure out two things.
1) where are the temp sensors located ?? I have 2 "zones" so I assume there are 2 sensors ?? It's in a 40' DS Intrigue.
2) when the AC is set and running, once it reaches the set temp is the
AC supposed to shut off ?? Then start back up when the interior coach temp goes up ??
Currently mine wants to keep running. Somehow I don't think it is supposed to work like this. I'm heading up to Las Vegas this weekend and would like it to be correct as temps will be in the 90's...

The sensor for the rear zone is the white plastic think under the cabinet over the jheads of the bed. I think the fronty zone must be incorporated in the control.

If you have the fan speed set for Auto then it will shut down when temp is reached, if you have fan speed set to any other position then the fan will continue to run and the AC compressor will cycle on and off. At least that is how mine works with the heat pump model.

We leave ours on Auto during the day and Low at night - that way we don't wake up every time it cycles and the fan blocks outside noise.
I have to keep the rear zone set about 10-15 degrees different from the back. I think I set it at 60 to maintain 75 in the coach when using the air conditioner.

Egon, I think you may have it backwards. My thermostat does have the High and Low setting but the third is Auto. With the High and Low the fan stays on while the compressor cycles based on heat load. The Auto fan selection cycles the fan along with the compressor though the fan comes on a couple of minutes ahead of the compressor. They both shut down when the setting is reached. Yours may be different but that is the way I think most work.
