There is a full hook up park at the boat docks next to the lift bridge which makes it very convenient to downtown attractionsl. Stayed there for a few days a couple of years ago and it was great for big rigs. No trees and parked on concrete but being near everything was great.
It's called LAKEHEAD BOAT BASIN, INC. http://www.lakeheadboatbasin.com/ (http://www.lakeheadboatbasin.com/)
