For those concerned about these 2 brands you may recall my notice of a few weeks ago and as reprinted below. The specification for these two tires is identical, at least in the size noted. Goodyear is making a big push to capture the RV business. They supposedly are formulating the makeup of the tire to do what is needed by motor homes versus what is expected of tires by truck owners. We need a tire that will last 5 years and do 50 -60 thousand miles and be replaced. Trucks need a tire that will give 200,000 miles and probably will go in 2 years.
The missing point here is that I acquired 6 Toyo tires. Had this not occured,I would have bought the remaining 4 tires from Goodyear to ballance out and have one brand and put in the Smart Tire system.
I just finished the installation of the receiver and antenna yestarday and now I have to learn how to interpret what it will be telling me. I have a much better reguard now for what they charge for an installed system.
