Someone asked for tire temperatures at the lower pressures I'm carrying. We just returned from a quick trip to Atlanta, Ga. from our home in Texarkana, Ar. and I tried to record the data requested.
Trouble is the highest ambient temp we encountered was 87 degrees F. At that temp and driving a steady 62 mph, tire temps per SmartTire were a low of 132 on the right outside dual to a high of 140 on the right inside dual.I am carrying cold pressures of 90psi front tires, 75psi duals and 80psi tag, all of which are above the chart for the weight of my coach. The SmartTire parameter suggested by the guys at Schwab in Junction city was for the temp alarm to go off above 198 degrees F. and I have never exceeded that even at much higher ambient temps.

We have a 36' Allure and as full-timers we weigh in at 32K so I did a four corner, front-back weigh at the truck scales and set my pressures at 85 front and 75 back and really improved my ride and handling over the 110-115 that was in them from the dealer. The tires are Toyo and I set the weights per the Toyo chart. We are very happy with the tires and Les Schwab.

Allen,

You did not say that you had any slides, if you do, you need a four point weigh to determine if one corner is heavier then the other. That was a big problem on the 2000 model years when slides first came out and to this day that can still be a problem.
